Heath Avery was formed in 1979 and incorporated in 2002. We are one of the longest-established practices in the region, entering our 30th year.

Heath Avery consists of 10 architects and technicians with a good mix between design and technical skills. We also have five support staff and a great pool of outsourced expertise to give us flexible resources. We get very positive feedback for our ability to deliver superb design and pride ourselves on attention-to-detail and team-working. The acid test is our excellent long-standing relationships.

• Project value is up to £20m.
• We are focussing on care, education, workspaces and specialist residential as sectors, but we also have a great deal of experience in heritage and retail.
• We primarily operate in the South-West, Midlands and South Wales (Approx 75 mile radius of Cheltenham so we can stay close to projects).
• We are working hard on our eco-credentials as this is the key driver in the market. We believe we are significantly ahead of the game, especially for our size - and that is borne out by awards and the contracts we are winning. We have a dedicated Director of Sustainability and are working towards ISO 14001. (see sustainability section).
• Sarah Daly, our Managing Director, is a Chartered Marketer and is developing our knowledge of the focus sectors to ensure a comprehensive understanding of what clients, and end-users, need and want in our buildings. She also brings considerable strategic development expertise to the practice with an excellent network of investors.
