Project Value: £5m (in two schools)

Heath Avery has completed a number of prestigious projects for The Pate Foundation at both Richard Pate and Pate’s Grammar Schools in Cheltenham.

Projects at The Richard Pate School include the recently completed Art, Science and Language wing. The conceptual design of the building reflects the aspirations of the school in providing the very best facilities within a clean, contemporary envelope, which has its own visual identity. The light and airy spaces created by the wave form roof and curtain walling are naturally ventilated, and have been thermally modelled to ensure optimum comfort. Recent projects include the extension and refurbishment of all the classrooms, a new library and major additions to the nursery.

At Pate’s Grammar, projects have included creating an inspiring new Art and Music department and the upgrading of the Sixth Form Suite.
