Many options were explored for this site, including the provision of a nursing home. This is the biggest project Lench’s Trust has taken on and therefore represented a challenge for the management team and trustees. The site is based in Quinton, Birmingham.

The approved scheme includes 97 independent-living apartments offering extra-care accommodation. The complex also features a village hall, which doubles as activity rooms; well-being rooms, a shop, hairdressers, quiet room/library, cafeteria and dining room.

William Lench Court is due to start on site in Autumn 2008.
