Heath Avery is always interested in new talent. However, right now we are fully resourced. It's a sign of the times that we are getting scores of approaches per month, so please don't be offended if you don't get a reply!
To assist your chances of being 'filed for future reference' we recommend the following:
i) Please ensure your experience matches the profile of our practice: with experience in at least one of two of our core sectors: Care, Education, Specialist Residential and Workspaces.
ii) Please spell-check and get someone to proof your letter/CV - erroneous applications will not impress us!
iii) Back your application with images and relevant case studies. Forget the 'experts' who recommend a one-page CV .... boring!
iv)We are especially keen to hear from architects with experience in concept and visualisation (Part II with substantial experience or Part III).
v) Senior, qualified technicians/technologists can be required on a contract basis depending on workflow.
vi) Interns are welcome but unfortunately we cannot offer any payment at this time unless you are eligible for the Graduate Scheme which offers eight weeks funding (subject to availability).
vi) As a practice which values sustainability and is conscious of our impacts, we do not encourage commuting so we prefer applicants who reside locally or are prepared to relocate.
